Kumbuka: BMI ni zana muhimu ya tathmini ya ngazi ya idadi ya watu, lakini ina mipaka. Haizingatii muundo wa mwili (misuli dhidi ya mafuta), usambazaji wa mafuta, umri, jinsia au kabila.
